- Lithium-ion Battery Industry
NMP is a key solvent for preparing the electrode paste of lithium-ion batteries, used to dissolve PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) binder. However, due to its reproductive toxicity, the industry is actively seeking alternatives.
- Polymer and Resin Industry
Used as a polymer solvent for engineering plastics (such as polyamide, polyimide, polyphenylene sulfide), as well as a liquid crystal solution in aramid production.
